Who We Are

Rose Lucera and Wendi Williams were inspired by their love of plants, landscaping and design to establish Planters by Design. Their primary goal is to show that no matter the size of the garden, you can always have beautiful plants, both in the ground and in containers…..all four seasons. By planting natives, you can ensure that your garden is lively, attracting the pollinators. And finally, by using perennials in planters, you can gradually add to your existing garden landscape.

Rose is a Certified Master Gardener, a member of the North Andover Garden Club, a frequent volunteer at public gardens throughout eastern Massachusetts and has Landscape and Garden Maintenance certification.

Wendi has a BS in Architectural Design, a Master’s in Planning and Urban Design, is a longtime volunteer at Long Hill Estates in Beverly, and has Landscape and Garden Maintenance certification.
